Sometimes a loved one can’t participate with the house search due to service obligations. As a service member, there’s more involved with a home purchase compared to most civilians. Primarily, you need a strong understanding of the benefits available through the Department of Defense. These typically come through PCS moving assistance and the Veterans Administration loan. Then, there are the logistics of moving to or from San Antonio. First things First

Before we start house shopping, make sure to obtain your Certificate of Eligibility (COE). Use this VA.gov for direct access to the COE registration page. Your lender may also be able to help obtain the certificate.
